I took Kassi with me to the school to volunteer for Ally's class today because she wasn't feeling well enough to leave behind. Now I'm thinking I should have just stayed home. Kassi started wandering the hall but always came back within a few seconds and didn't enter any rooms. Except for one, the time she didn't immediately come back. It was the boys' bathroom!! And I found her playing in a urinal!! That hadn't been FLUSHED!!!!! Yuck!!! Seriously, this toilet obsession this little girl has is getting old. And really discusting.

Over the last two weeks, we went through ten days of fevers. It was a medium high fever for five days with a bit of a cough that showed up on the third day. First Emmy had it, then Ally, then Kassi. Kassi's fever didn't last as long but her cough turned awful and she stopped sleeping for more than an hour at a time. Her breathing became really noisy and we became worried so I took her to the doctor. Sure enough, it was croup. (It's been going around). I have never had a baby with croup before. My poor little girl was having the hardest time breathing, especially at night, and I was clueless to how bad it was. The doc gave her a steroid to help open her airways and last night she slept for almost eight hours. She is a whole new kid today. Back to her happy self!

Hosted 32 people for an early Thanksgiving! I love it when we get all the A cousins together!

Happy 80th Birthday GG!!!
Kassi spent several minutes just laying her head on Ally's lap during Sacrament Meeting. Then she got too noisy and had to leave the room. She did two laps, walking!!!!--waddling--around the church and only fell down once! Emmy went with her and held her hand when she started to head in the wrong direction. It was so darling! I love that my girls love each other.

Kassi slept all night!! 11 hours!! It's been so long since she's done that... At least two months. I stayed in my bed for eight hours! Honestly, I can't even remember the last time I did that.

Emmy made me laugh today. She called me into her bedroom this morning and had laid out six different outfits. Each outfit was complete with color coordinating panties, socks, and headband. She wanted me to help her pick which one to wear.
Then we were waiting for Uncle Daniel to show up (he has come to join us for Thanksgiving!) and Emmy kept calling him the wrong name. We kept correcting her and finally she said, "That's his third name!"
