4 Months
Kassi has turned 4 months!!! And that meant a trip to the doctors office for a well-child! Since we were making the trip, I decided to take all my girls in for their yearly check ups. The poor nurse...I think we overwhelmed her a little. She did a pretty good job at keeping everyones' charts straight, though, as she tested eye sight, took blood pressure, weighed and measured four girls all at once.
So here are our new stats:
Sami- 47.8 lbs, 49 in (moving her up on the curve to 7% for both!)
Ally-29.8 lbs, 39.5 in (0% still and dropping to 3% respectively)
Emmy- 23.6 lbs!!, 34.75 in (also 0% and 3%)
AND KASSI- 12.25 lbs, 24 in (19%!!! and 38%!!!) Go Kassi!! What a chunk!!! ;)
4 months also meant first solids!!
(sort of)
Kassi's had a few little tastes of things over the days leading up to and right after turning 4 months (peas, carrots, potatoes, avocado, corn, pear, bread, ice cream...) but we did finally do the official first solid of avocado one night and banana one morning. Yeah, funny how that one new thing a week kind of goes out the window with the fourth kid.
AVOCADO
She warmed up to it slowly...
BANANA
Either she was tired or she found it boring...

Th Main Event!
Halloween brought all kinds of fun! The best part was that Jeremy was back from spending a week on a trip to Asia (Hong Kong and Indonesia) for work. We were so glad to see him and it was nice to have him there in time for Halloween Night. Our pumpkins that we carved before he left didn't fare well in the heat that we had at the end of October... but the heat was so nice to have for trick-or-treating!! Our Ghost, Witch, and Black Cat had a blast and knew exactly what to do. We came home with far too much candy... Kassi (Our pumpkin) slept through the whole thing.
The cutest trick-or-treater award goes to Emmy this year. She ran from door to door. When we went to one house that is notorious for scaring kids (they also happen to be Ally's primary teachers), we called out, "It's us! No scaring PLEASE!" They didn't scare us and, as we walked away, Emmy commented, "Another Happy Ending!" Then at another house that took a while to answer, Emmy started yelling, "Hello!!! TRICK! OR! TREAT!!"
Just warming up for...

Too Cute Kassi and Her First Halloween!
Being my fourth child, Kassi has had a variety of outfits available to her in celebrating Halloween.
I had...a little bit of fun over the weeks leading up to the holiday... This kid is just too fun to take pictures of!
