About a month ago, Jeremy took Ally and Emmy with him to get snow tires on the car. While they were waiting, they went to a gas station for a treat. Emmy ran and bounced through the store in true Emmy fashion, and then they went to check out. As Jeremy was paying, he heard a man behind him laughing. Jeremy turned around to see Emmy reaching for a RedBull!! Could you imagine? Have you seen "Over the Hedge" when Hammy gets fed caffeine? Yeah, Emmy would be out of control.
Yesterday, Emmy really wanted to watch a Barbie Christmas movie and I said no. It was Sunday. She didn't like that answer. I had to sit down with her and explain that we don't watch those kind of movies on Sunday and Sunday's special, etc. Well, this morning she asked again and was ecstatic when I said yes! I told her that today is Monday so it's okay. Really?! Wow!! She was so pleased. And then she said,"My teacher said.." and putting on a very low and serious voice went on to say something about the days of the week and Thursday verses Sunday. I couldn't exactly understand what she said but the mock voice made me want to laugh my head off. Wish you could have been there. :)
