Halfway to THREE!

Emmy turned 2 1/2 last week!  She's getting to be such a big girl.  She has really turned into a good helper for me...when she's not in her "creative" mode.  (Note picture)  Some funny things she is doing these days:

--her current favorite phrase is "Oh Dear..."
--when asked to do something she wants to do, she says, "Ah Course!"

--when asked to do something she doesn't want to do, she says, "No."  After she gets in trouble for saying "no" and is convinced that she needs to do the thing she doesn't want to do she says, rather dejectedly, "Ohhh-Kayyy..."

--she loves to eat meat!  The other night she gobbled up all of her pork so fast that we thought she fed it to the dog!  We commented on how she was a carnivore like a lion and she spent the rest of the meal ROARING at us with a very convincing growl.  Now whenever she eats meat, she roars.

--we have hit the skirt stage again so she spends most of the each day running around in her pettiskirt from Christmas.

--she loves to get ready for church and go to nursery and every time she sees me doing my make up (even on a weekday), she says, "We go to church?" and runs to find a dress. 

--Last night at dinner, she spent five minutes trying to convince Sami to trade her cups because she had a sippy cup and Sami had a normal cup.  She doesn't like sippy cups or carseats anymore.  She keeps telling me that she is a "Big Girl" who needs real cups and should ride in a booster seat. 

The only problem is that she still doesn't weigh more than 21 lbs...
