She can't be TWELVE! How did that happen???
Good Morning!
Sami gets up before the sun these days so we all rose early to watch her open gifts and make French toast.
Later that night: brownie cake with skittles and kit-kats. Sami's request.
Mmmmm...Brownie Sundae!
Turning 12 in our home includes a new set of scriptures, a nice CTR ring, and earrings! She got a lunch date with Mom to pick out her CTR ring and an after school date with Dad to get her ears pierced.
Sami had her party a few days later at Sip 'n Swirl. She had 17 friends come! They ate frozen yogurt and pizza, watched the new Cinderella movie, and played party games. It was a full blown tween party and Sami planned the entire thing. I just showed up with the baby and a credit card. ;)
So here she is, 12-years-old. An official Young Woman. Dressing up for Spirit Week in Junior High. Staying out past her 9pm bedtime with friends. Getting up at 6:30am and getting herself off to school. No longer needing help with homework. Getting straight A's in all her classes. Growing up on me. Life's just not fair...
