Emmy gave the lesson for FHE tonight. It was on baptism. Other than the fact that she said you can get baptized at age 5 and then age 2, she did really well. At the end, I encouraged her to bare her testimony. I started her with ''I'd like to bare my testimony'' and then told her to say what she knows. She continued as follows:
''I know if I eat my food all gone, it is good for me, and I can have ice cream.''
Mom: (trying really hard not to bust up laughing) Can you share what you know about Jesus?
Emmy: I know Jesus was baptized and He loves me.

Then at bedtime, I asked Emmy what song she wanted me to sing. Normally I sing songs like ''Wee Willey Winkie'' and ''Goodnight Moon.'' She said she wanted me to sing a new song
about Kassi being happy and Sami being cranky and Daddy being cranky and Mommy being cranky. I told her I didn't want to sing a song about a cranky family so she sang:
''Wee Willey Winkie is cra-a-nky''
We ended up adding a few verses before singing the actual nursery rhyme about Willey being grumpy because his mom made him get into his nightgown.
