Ally auditioned for the school play today. She did great and was so cute! (Yes, I was one of the ones casting...) This morning we had her practice in front of the family after family prayer. After she was done, Kassi decided she needed to sing for the family too and sang "Moon, Moon, Moon," her favorite bedtime song. Then Emmy got up and sang her special name song. Then the girls thought Jeremy should sing a song. After some coaxing, he sang "She'll Be Coming 'round the Mountain." He had us all laughing! What a great way to start the day!

Emmy: (while gutting her pumpkin for Halloween) I'm goonna scare the pants off the deer! Uhh...I mean fur.
Kassi: (while pretending to eat Jeremy's nose) You taste like pancakes... You taste like... hotdogs!
Kassi didn't get a nap today and was definitely crashing by bedtime. She was walking around the house crying and wailing "Boackit!" over and over again. We couldn't figure out what she was saying. It sounded like "Broke it" so we kept asking what was broken. That just made her more upset. Finally after about ten minutes of us trying to guess what was the matter and her getting more and more upset, we figured out she was saying "Bucket" because she couldn't find her Halloween Kitty Bucket. Oh! I knew exactly where that was!
