Ally's final field trip

THE ZOO!
Ally went on several field trips this year with her preschool class.  She went to the fire department, the grocery store, the dentist office, and the pet store.  But I think she definitely had the most fun at the ZOO!  Her last field trip of the year (to the zoo) was a week ago.  Emmy and I were able to go with her this time!  We had so much fun!!
Ally's favorite is still the monkeys!
Emmy thought she was a monkey...
Or a turtle...
But Emmy LOVED the Elephants!
FRIENDS!!!Ally's two best friends at preschool are Mac and Scarlett.
Earlier this year, Mac and Ally were caught holding hands and claiming each other as boyfriend/girlfriend.  I think they have settled now, though, as just being good friends.  :)
Emmy and Nash (Mac's little brother) are also buds!
All the kids went on the carousel after lunch!!
Emmy absolutely loved it!!
Ally surprised me a little.  She started to panic on me for some reason when I tried to put her on the animal next to Emmy and asked to ride on a chair instead.  I agreed and put her in the chair with another mom, right in front of us and behind Mac.  She seemed perfectly content to just ride that way.
And then there was the train ride!
And a few other fun pics:

Sami's Spring Show

Sami had her Spring Ice Show a few weeks ago.  She was as cute as ever!  She skated to "In the Navy" with a few kids that were slightly less advanced than her.  That being the case, she didn't do any waltz jumps or sow-cows this time, but she was full of energy and still had fun performing!

All performers
Sami is on the end of the third or fourth row on the right.  (striped skirt)

32 week ultrasound

I had my 32 week ultrasound this week!  I had never had an ultrasound this late in pregnancy before, so it was kind of fun to see how my little gal has grown and developed.  She was laying in a position that made it hard to get a profile picture (again) but we did get a good look at her face!  Her little, perfect lips were suckling in her sleep.  She looked so cute and peaceful!  In the picture above, you can see her nose, lips, and cleft chin (which we all have in this family).  If you look closely, you can even see her little closed eyes.  To the left is a fist and knee.  She was soooo sweet to watch!  It made me extremely baby hungry.  I was perfectly fine with letting her just stay put until this ultrasound.  Now, I just want to hold her!

OH!  The main purpose of the ultrasound was to check my placenta, which has moved way up, so no bed rest of C-section due to placenta previa, thank goodness!  We also tried to get a gender confirmation, just because, but she was sitting on her feet so we weren't able to get a look.  Oh well.  We are just calling her a girl and if she's anything but, we will get a shocking surprise at delivery!

Visiting GG and GP

We just spent a weekend in Idaho with the Jeremy's grandparents!  It was so nice to spend time with them again.  Without even realizing it, we had gone about 6 months without going up to say hello.  (It's been a rather nutty winter with illnesses and whatnot...)  Grandpa is always full of loving wisdom when we go and Grandma is so good about taking care of us while we are there.  I felt bad because I thought a road trip wouldn't be a problem, but I felt kind of lousy and tired almost the whole time we were there and was not as much help as I would have liked to have been.  Poor Grandma really ended up taking care of us...
But the trip was really good for Jeremy and the girls and I'm glad we went.
We all love them so much!
Emmy was especially sweet and loving towards GG and GP this time:

Ally's Spotlight!

Ally has been waiting all school year for her chance to do a spotlight at preschool!  When it was finally her turn, she spent weeks planning!  She told me everything she wanted on her poster.  I helped with the layout and printed the pictures.  She did the rest!  She was sooooo excited to take it to school and tell her class all about everything she had put on her poster!
Do you like the little design on her nose?  She and Sami had a head on collision when they were out riding bikes and scooters.  Ally went flying.  She even lost a shoe which our neighbor ended up finding.  Thank goodness she was wearing a helmet or the scrape probably would have gone all the way up her forehead.  Even with the scab, I think she's just adorable!
